On Sunday July 6, 2008 the Southwestern Oklahoma State University will hold band camp. Camp will end on Friday July 11, 2008. The students will split up into groups, and be given music to play to test their skills in music. It is not all about the music; but it is also about having fun. In addition, the students will have free time to associate with their peers. On Friday August 1, 2008 the Flag Team will have practice. They will be required to report at Eisenhower High School everyday except for Saturday and Sunday. This will be going on until Monday August 11, 2008.
The director, Mr.Haas is really looking forward to next year. He has creative songs and effects that will entertain the crowds immensely. Although it is a very demanding job, he always seems to get the work done. On behalf of Ike Eagle Band, we thank you for all your support.
